Overview

Plumb keeps a portfolio of Robinhood Stock Tokens at the weights you choose. You set a mix, say 35% NVDA, 20% MSFT, 15% GOOGL, 10% AAPL, 10% META and 10% USDG, and add USDG. The vault buys the mix on Uniswap. From then on an agent watches it: when prices pull any holding further from its weight than your band, the agent rebalances the portfolio back to the mix.

Everything runs on Robinhood Chain mainnet. The portfolio is yours: only your wallet can change it or take money out.

Weights and the band

A mix can hold any of the 27 listed Stock Tokens and USDG as cash: AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, MSFT, AMZN, META, GOOGL, COIN, AMD, TSM, MU, INTC, PLTR, DELL, SNDK, MSTR, CRCL, BABA, GME, SPCX and USAR, and the ETFs SPY, QQQ, GLD, SLV, USO and SGOV. Each is listed because it has a Chainlink price feed on Robinhood Chain and a Uniswap pool deep enough to trade. Weights are whole percents and must add up to 100%. The band is how far a holding may drift before a rebalance is due: 3%, 5% or 10% of the portfolio. A tight band keeps the mix closer and trades more often; a wide one trades less.

You can change the mix at any time. A holding you drop to 0% is sold on the next rebalance.

How a rebalance works

The vault values every holding at its Chainlink price. It first sells whatever is over its weight to USDG, then buys whatever is under its weight with that USDG, keeping the cash your USDG weight asks for. Trades under 1 USDG are skipped as dust. When it is done the portfolio sits at its weights, less pool fees.

You can rebalance your own portfolio at any time from the app, drifted or not. Adding USDG rebalances in the same transaction, so new money goes straight into the mix.

The agent

The agent is a small program on Cloudflare that runs every five minutes while the stock price feeds move, Monday to Friday. Each round it asks the vault which portfolios have drifted past their band and rebalances them. It may not rebalance the same portfolio twice within an hour, and it skips portfolios worth less than 10 USDG.

The agent has no special rights. Anyone may rebalance a portfolio that is past its band, under the same rules, and earns the same fee. If the agent stopped, your portfolio would simply stop rebalancing; your tokens stay where they are and you can withdraw them.

Prices and slippage

Values and trade limits come from Chainlink's tokenized-equity feeds on Robinhood Chain, the same feeds lending markets use. Every fill on Uniswap must land within 2% of the Chainlink price. If a pool can't fill that close, that one holding is skipped and tried again on the next round; the rest of the rebalance goes through, and a round that trades nothing charges nothing. When a feed is stale (more than three and a half days old), rebalancing waits; withdrawing as stocks still works.

Fees

  • Opening a portfolio: 0.0001 ETH, passed straight to the agent for its gas.
  • A rebalance the agent runs: 0.10 USDG to the agent, plus 0.1% of the value traded to the treasury.
  • A rebalance you run yourself: only the 0.1%.
  • Changing the mix, adding money, withdrawing as stocks: nothing beyond gas.

Uniswap's own pool fees apply to every trade, as on any swap.

Withdrawing

Take out 25%, 50% or all of the portfolio at any time. As stocks, you get that share of every holding sent to your wallet as the tokens themselves. As USDG, the vault sells that share of every stock first, within the same 2% limit, and sends you the cash; a stock whose pool can't fill that close comes out as the token itself.

Who can move what

Only your wallet can set your weights, add to your portfolio or withdraw from it. A rebalance, whoever calls it, can only trade inside your own portfolio, at prices tied to Chainlink, and can only pay the fixed fee out of it. The owner of the contract can list routes and set fees within hard limits written in the contract (at most 1 USDG per rebalance and 0.5% of what is traded), and can never move what you hold.

Contracts

Risks

Stock Tokens track the price of real shares and can fall. Rebalancing keeps your mix; it does not protect its value. Prices can move between rounds, a thin pool can delay a rebalance, and a smart contract can have bugs. Stock Tokens are not offered to US persons. Nothing here is financial advice.
